February holidays: ideas for cultural outings
The winter school holidays start on February 7, 2015. To keep the children busy during these two weeks, you can offer them various fun and creative activities whether you are in Paris or in the provinces. Do your toddlers love the cinema? City of Architecture and Heritage
During the winter holidays, the Cité de l’Architecture et du patrimoine de Paris organizes courses on the theme of the city of today and the future. Several sessions are planned:
“Print the city” : plastic artist Mathilde Seguin offers children a drypoint engraving workshop. The toddlers make a bound album with their prints, illustrating patterns of facades and buildings.
“Paris: year 2050” : children explore a technique developed by the illustrators of “Ale + Ale”, which allows them to create images by associating clippings from old newspapers, drawings and… dreams. They invent their own “Paris 2050” album, representing the city, the neighborhood and the street.
