The beneficial properties of red caviar are abundant. Its use improves vision, improves metabolism and the work of the cardiovascular system. Considering the price of caviar, I don’t want to buy a low-quality product.

When choosing red caviar, pay attention to the following points:

1. A good manufacturer indicates on the label the type of red caviar, and it can be:

  • chum salmon (large orange eggs with red blotches, very delicate in taste),
  • pink salmon (eggs are medium in size, bright orange, with a slight bitterness),
  • sockeye salmon (small red eggs with a bitter taste and strong odor).

Try not to buy caviar, where its type is not specified, and the manufacturer simply writes “granular salmon caviar”.

 

2. Do not buy caviar in plastic containers. Choose glass or tin jars, paying attention to the fact that glass should be additionally packed in a box or stored in the dark, as caviar deteriorates in the light.

3. Shake the jar of caviar – the contents should not dangle inside.

4. Do not buy caviar if the country of origin does not coincide with the place of packaging – there is a possibility that such caviar was previously frozen.

5. Buy caviar produced in accordance with GOST.

6. Know that the best caviar is packaged in the summer – in July or August.

7. The date of manufacture must be pressed outward on the tin.
