Joga, meditacija. Studija20 suggests that yoga may have beneficial effects on obsessive-compulsive disorder. Another study21 pointed out that meditation can bring some benefits.

L-Triptofanas. Tryptophan is a natural amino acid found in food (rice, dairy products, etc.). It is necessary for the production of serotonin. Its use, in combination with SSRI antidepressants, may relieve symptoms of obsessive-compulsive disorder22.

Fitoterapija. Certain plants, such as kava23, lemon balm24,25, passion flower, valerian26 or gotu kola27, may alleviate symptoms of anxiety. Regarding depression, St. John’s Wort may alleviate symptoms but, beware, there are interactions with certain medications and side effects with St. John’s Wort that should not be overlooked.
