And today I want to invite you to consider the dangers that a life without purpose leads to, as well as the reasons why this happens.

Indeed, when a person does not know what he wants, does not plan his activities, he seems to be suffocating. He spends every minute of his life in confusion and anxiety, not satisfying his needs, except for physiological ones. It’s harder to admit to yourself that you made the wrong choice or that you weren’t ready to make it. And now, instead of correcting the situation and taking the risk of exploring the areas that attract, just out of habit, day after day, doing what does not bring pleasure. When an infantile, that is, an irresponsible person, expects a “good wizard” or a “miracle” without acting on his own, it only leads to disappointment.

He gets used to satisfying the interests of others, who, in his opinion, are worthy and happier. The reason lies in childhood, when parents and others blamed, devalued or ignored him. And here are two options for the development of events, either he, growing up, seeks to win the recognition of others, or vice versa, he believes that he has no right to desire something, and even more so, he is incapable of achieving.
  3. Baimė nesėkmės. Living the shame of failure is sometimes so toxic that a person makes a choice in favor of inaction, is ready to give up his desires and ambitions, just not to face it. It is easier to put up with what you have without leaving your comfort zone than to move towards the realization of the goal, being afraid to make things worse. And for this, people are ready to endure a lot, even violence and the realization that life is meaningless and empty.
  4. Nežinojimas. At school, we are taught a lot, but, unfortunately, they ignore the most important thing — the ability to set goals and achieve them. Sometimes parents, because they themselves do not understand how this is done, cannot transfer knowledge and skills to children. These children over time simply do not realize the importance of this process.
